Sources (my kids) say that this trend [oversize glasses] used to be considered hipster, but from the little I understand about hipsters, they have already abandoned this practice if they think everyone else is doing it.   1. sanspassport said: Fun fact- Chinese people love glasses! There’s a whole glasses district just by the Jinsong subway stop in Beijing that has about 2 blocks of different boutiques. Re: ‘hipster glasses’, girls love them so much they buy them without lenses.
